Terms & Conditions
Terms will be agreed individually for bespoke projects or large projects constituting more than 10 items.
All terms are negotiable during the ordering process
All prices quoted are net of VAT.
At point of sale by cheque, or Bank transfer
Items ordered for later delivery & bespoke items:
A 50% deposit invoice + VAT. Orders will be put in hand on receipt of the deposit,
with the balance due on delivery.
All goods remain the property of the company until full payment has been received
We endeavour to keep some stock of items in the range and availability will be
quoted at the time of order. Normal lead times are 4-8 weeks for items within
the range (dependant on quantity ordered) and up to 12 weeks for bespoke items.
We can deliver by our own transport by arrangement. There
will be no charge for deliveries within the M25 zone for orders above a value of £4000 nett (or by agreement).
International deliveries can be arranged , which will require an extra charge which would be agreed before delivery.
Our lighting products are wired to UK/European standards. For deliveries to the USA we are
able to supply lighting with approved US fittings at no additional cost [Not UL]. If you require UL wiring we will arrange that items are
wired in the US and delivered to you fully UL compliant. There is a small additional cost for this service.
Lamps will be fitted with UK plugs unless requested otherwise.
All lanterns marked for use both internally and externally are rated IP44.
Please specify outdoor use when ordering.
Models permitted for bathroom use [IP44] are marked in the brochure.
We carry a variety of different electrical wiring products including plastic in black, brown, gold and white and silk covered flex in brown,
black, silver & gold (other colours are available by request.
Phillips & Wood Support Team
We have a team of qualified experts able to install any item sold by us. The team leader is a fully
qualified Electrician permitted to install lighting sold by this company and we will be happy to liaise with you and your contractors to give
you the service you need. This service applies within the UK and will be charged on a quoted basis. We are also able to undertake such
installations overseas by agreement.
We treat each order as special so:
Simply decide on the lantern, lamp or hanging light that you would like to purchase and order the
item by its name giving the quantity required, detail of the finish you would like, delivery
date required and delivery address. This may be done by email, post or by telephone. We will
respond with a confirmation and if you have email we will send you a picture of the ordered item,
the ceiling rose and chain (if these have been requested) the cable/flex we recommend, details of
the electrical fitting and our deposit invoice. Production of your order will begin once we have
received your deposit. As soon as we are ready to send out your order we will inform you again by email where possible.
Please inform us within 10 days of receipt of any damage to, or complaint about
your order. After that time we will be unable to entertain any claim.
If you wish to order a lighting product in a unique size or finish we will be
happy to quote a price and delivery. As our product is made in our own workshops
in the UK we are able to respond quickly to special orders.
We like to work closely with our Trade clients in the Design and Decorating business.
Our workshops are situated in Chiswick, West London and are easily accessible
by Tube and road. We are always happy to show clients our production and to be
involved in projects from start to finish. We therefore invite you to visit us
